An easily accessible and LEGAL source of gun powder is ROCKET ENGINES. Thats right, rocket engines, just like the ones you buy at Wal-Mart or K-Mart for those little backyard rockets. Get A's B's C's or what ever class engine you wish but I get more powder for my buck with C's and D's. Now don't be shy buy as many as you want. Get some sissors preferribly heavy duty, Only because the cardbord on those engines is a bitch on Mum's old sewing sissors. Got to the end with the most empty space and snip the top edge with the sissorsso that the cardbord stards to fray. Now if you have bad grip or no nails like me, grab some small needlenose pliers and grab the outside edge of the cardbord start to unrap it by peeling it sideways in layers. If you do this enough that process should only take a matter of seconds. Now after you take the cardbord off you will seea black hard section and a grayish brown crumbling section, both are flammable so keep them both. Break off the grayish brown stuff and save for later use REMEMBER: EVERYTHING INSIDE THE ROCKET IS FLAMMABLE SO USE CAUTION. DON'T BE STUPID AND YOU WON'T GET DEAD. Now the black chunk is what class? Thats right, it's gunpowder. you may crush it up if you like with a mortar and pestel or if you don't have those use a PLASTIC bucket and a hammer.

Now what can we do with this gunpowder and this grayish brown stuff? Crush it all up, mix it, take it out to a clear area, (by clear I mean no dry leaves or branches) Or if you don't have that do it in a metal bucket in your backyard. Now for this to be worth the effect you'll want to have at least 5 or more engines crushed up. Oh by the way have the camera ready it's fun to watch the reruns later. put it in a pile and use something as a fuse (ie: dryer lint, sparklers, or an actual fuse) Light the fuse and stand at least 10 feet back. Watch the fireball, and watch the mushroom cloud that comes off of it.
