Floating Fireballs

Well I don?t know how easy you will find this shit but you can do what I do and swipe most of it from your science lab. First you?re going to need to get your hands on magnesium ribbon, vinegar, and a balloon (duh). Second you have to do a process of trial and error if your first attempt doesn?t work try this another way.by ncrock64
Now go to your point of launch and set up a candle (anything that can produce a flame for a good period of time works). Either put the vinegar into the balloon or put it into a tube that the end of the balloon can fit around (thin ones work better). I don?t know the exact amount you want to use but you want to use a good amount of vinegar to a small amount of ribbon. Once the vinegar is in roll your magnesium ribbon into a ball and put it into the vinegar either tie the balloon shut or put a cap on the tube. Get your candle ready as soon as the ribbon starts to dissolve in the vinegar (I like to but the vinegar and mg ribbon in a container).
Now put the balloon around the test tube and let the gas the reaction is making into the balloon. Let the end of the balloon light on fire and watch it go up into the air and then explode into flames when the fire hits the gas in the balloon.
