This works on the kinds of lighters that have the switch to adjust the flame. Start by taking off the metal cover that the flame spits out of. 99% of the time the adjustment switch is right under the butane tip the emits the flame. You'll notice that the switch that adjusts it circles a white little wheel with teeth like notches in it. What you need to do is take that off but be careful not to just rip it off because its usually connected to other trinkets that make the lighter work. Try to carefully cut the switch off with like a knife or something. Once you have a clear path to that little white wheel all you have to do is move the wheel in the direction depending on the size of how you want the flame. When looking straight at the lighter with the switch facing you usually when moving the wheel to the left you make the flame smaller and to the right it makes the flame get bigger. Also be sure not to adjust the wheel to far to the right or the butane will just spit out of the lighter which wastes a lot of butane. To finish the job simply place the metal cover back on and use.
