A while ago I came across a video that explained why California welcomes illegals and the homeless and it largely has to do with money. California gets homeless/illegals and then they use it to get federal aid. The federal aid makes up for the taxes they pay so it's essentially a net zero that California has to pay in taxes. Then later on, I learned that California counts their illegals as citizens in terms of the census, that's why the democrats tried so damn hard to keep the first Trump admin from adding a "are you a legal citizen" to the census question. Fast forward to now and the L.A mayoral election is going on with Spencer Pratt being solidly in second place... until the California electoral machine kicks in. Now what the California democrats have done is something called "procedural cheating". Since states are allowed to run their elections how they wish, they've basically made it impossible for anyone aside from a democrat to win, even independents like Pratt couldn't win due to the way elections are done in California where the top 2 are the only 2 you can vote for.

Why does this matter you ask? Well, once you have a massive amount of homeless that you can pay a few bucks and ballot harvest, spend weeks counting them, you can produce the amount you need to beat anyone. That's all it is for them, money and votes. California will never go red again until their election process is fixed
