check it out, its a company that can apparently dispose of solid waste in clean manner and produce useful by-products such as electricity.



Ok so I've only done a little reading on this company and its product/service, but from what I've read, this seems to me to be the most exciting technology to come along in a long while. (I know its sad that this excites me, but come on a process that not only disposes of our waste in an environmentally sound manner, but also produces useful biproducts? this is a tree-huggers wet dream) I was just hoping that some of you smarter people could enlighten me and the other not-so-smart people what could be wrong with this whole idea or if it is really as kick-ass as it sounds

the site is copyright 2001.

without looking at the rest of it, i would say that for one reason or another this never took off. i have heard of similar ideas being expressed but it has never happened on a large scale.

perhaps it isn't profitable enough.

the idea is old, but occasionally gets some coverage.

but when an idea has been around for as long as this, and hasn't been implemented commercially then there is a very good reason for it.
