View Full Version : how do you deal with this?
every athiest is going to read this (or at least the first few lines and then say they read the rest) and think to themselves "yay! an end to christianity!"
every christian is going to read this and say "what is this person talking about? these connections aren't real connections."

I used to be a Christian and was able to rationalize both of those by manipulating my interpretation of the Bible.
You have to interpret it just right, or else the devil is tricking you into seeing a contradiction. http://www.totse.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif)

Okay, great. Now tell me why we should all follow some of its arbitrary rules that defy common sense.
In Leviticus, it condones stoning your children to death if they disobey you. This sounds like a rule written by a tribe of ancient Israelites, nothing more.
