I'm not religious, so I can't answer your question. But I do have input--"something to say to that"--as someone with disdain for all religions, cults, and pre-defined systems of morality.

"The Jews" (retardedly enough generalized completely, just as all muslims are, militant extremist and peaceful progressive undifferentiated) may not have blown up any German coffee shops or burned down churches--but Israel does some truely fucked up shit to its Arab neighbors and has probably claimed a lot more non-combatant lives than all the muslim anti-jew terrorism has in the past few years, are responsible for a good deal of fucked up shit globally that you don't and won't ever know about, and engineered the global understanding of their "tradgedy" a few years before it happened.

She definately has an Islamophobia problem. She's talking about how Muslims force others to convert, that's total bullshit. Muslims invite others to their religion, if they refuse, then so be it. Muslims, Christians and Jews lived together in harmony in Jerusalem under Islamic rule, and the Crusaders came along and butchered the Jews and Muslims many times.

But when she's talking about the Muslim's old civilisation, she doesn't seem to understand that the Muslim's way of life was taken away from them, their land carved by Britain and France, and their Muslim leaders replaced with false Muslim puppets of the West. That's a lot of people pissed off.

Yes, a lot of Jewish scientists helped with advancement in the 19th and 20th centuries, but who was doing all the research while Christian Europe was burning witches? Oh yeah, MUSLIMS. Put people in their preferred environment, and they will prosper. Jews probably wanted money and freedom so they can do as they please without suffering by the hands of others, they got it and they did advance and progress in good ways. Muslims can do the same, but not a single real Muslim country exists today, so how do you expect them to prosper with such bullshit leaders? Egypt is fucked, they don't allow Qur'anic teaching is school, how can this happen in a Muslim country? The Saudi government is the most corrupt "Muslim" family on Earth. Half of them are alcoholics and some of them are homosexual, yet these people are implementing a bastardised version of Islamic Law.

I think when they say Jewish they mean the west in general in which case she is right about modern science, but if she is referring to just ethnic jews then that's way off.

I think she had some good things to say that people in the middle east should hear from their own people. Not that they are the devils or anything and not that Israelis are all good or anything. But she reminds me of people inside the US that ridicule some of our questionable foreign relations and strategies. It's always good to look at your own nation first and see how you can change yourself before your look outward. If every nation did this from a secular, humanistic point of view I think it would improve relations around the world.

Islam is a religion of peace. It is submission to the will of God. A true Mussalman must be tolerant. Islam teaches that EVERY religion is true. Islam teaches that God has sent Prophets and religious teachers to mankind to bring them to the path of goodness, to teach them the noble things of life, to be kind, to be noble, to be merciful, to be good and to be just. Islam teaches to regard not only human beings with kindness and tolerance, but also to treat animals with kindness.

Islam doesnt just invite others to our way of life, they respect other religions.. and encourage people to believe in god.

There are two types of Jihad against the Kuffar

1- Offensive Jihad

2- Defensive Jihad

1- Offensive Jihad is when the Muslims launch an offensive attack. If this attack is on the Kuffar who have previously received the message of Islam, then to call them towards Islam before commencement of the attack is considered preferable.

However, if the message of Islam has not reached them, then the Kuffar will be invited towards Islam. If they reject this true faith, then they will have to pay Jizyah (Kufr tax). If they refuse to submit to the payment of Jizyah then the Muslims are to fight against them. With this type of Jihad the Kuffar who plot against the Muslims are repelled and their hearts are filled with fear, so that they do not succeed in their plans.

The offensive Jihad is Fardh Kifayah, the purpose of which is to ensure the Kuffar remain terrorised and away from mischief, thereby, allowing the message of Islam to be conveyed without any obstructions.

If one group of Muslims fulfil this obligation then it will be sufficient on behalf of all Muslims, but if there are no Muslims fulfilling this obligation then everyone is considered sinful.

It is stated in Fatawa Shami: It is required of the Imam (leader) of the Muslims to dispatch the army routinely once or twice a year towards the Kufr countries. It is also the duty of the Muslim public to assist the Imam in this noble cause. If the Imam does not send an army, then he will considered sinful.

The majority of Jihad undertaken at the time of our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) was within the category of offensive Jihad.

The Quran has called upon the Muslims to undertake the offensive Jihad and when this obligation is satisfactorily fulfilled there would be no apparent need for the defensive Jihad.

When Muslims neglect this important obligation then they are subjected to the defensive Jihad and this has become, with regret, widely common in our time.
