Enjoy yours too. Apparently you are only acting good out of fear of hell, that's being selfish, which is a sin. I guess I'll see you there then...

Holy crap, you completely caught. I didn't have the mental capacity to figure out that someone typing in caps and using the phrase "lawl" was a troll. I honeslty believe that you were serious and wasn't just making a comment to bring the logic of many theists forward.

Who ever said being selfish is a sin? Is there a quote from somewhere in any major holy text? I find that being selfish is the way to live, what is the sin in fearing the horrible chastisement of the Lord of the Worlds?

Almsgiving (Zakat)

Every Muslim whose financial conditions are above a certain specified minimum, must pay annually at least 2.5% of his savings to a deserving needy person, a new convert to Islam, a traveler, or one overwhelmed by debts. This fosters in a Muslim the quality of sacrifice and rids one of selfishness, greed and vanity. As all wealth is a gift from Allah, one has the duty to help his needy brethren when he is able.

If a woman fears cruelty or aversion on her husband's part, there is nothing wrong in the couple becoming reconciled. Reconciliation is better. But people are prone to selfish greed. If you do good and guard against evil, Allah is aware of what you do. (4:128)
