I so messed up what I had posted here!!
Basically, what has happened is, I was reading Galatians this morning. Paul had told the church of Galatia that they'd recieved him in a sickly condition, and that the people who were preaching circumcision to them were doing it to bring glory to the flesh and not to God, and that it made those people feel good because they were being listened to and followed after. It had nothing to do with the Glory of God for those people, preaching their own doctrine.
So I began to wonder if today's people would have accepted the Gospel of Christ from someone who appeared sickly? Hungry christians usually do, to be honest. People who are hungry want God and that's what they get. They pull for God, and push into God. They surround themselves with things pertaining to God. THEN, you have the religious christians who think they know God, and limit God because YOU'RE not what they thought YOU'D be. That shows you where their faith was, IN YOU. If people put their faith in man, then they get what man can offer, but when they put their faith in God, they get what God offers. God is only limited by the limits you set, in your life. This is why I absolutely refuse to accept thoughts that would encourage doubt and unbelief. My God is a BIG GOd and there's nothing impossible for Him. He will be, and is as effective in my life as I can believe Him to be, and allow Him to be. So take the limits off of God.
A religious person who have looked at Paul, seen HIM as sick, and would not have listened to Him, a hungry person would believe.
