What do you guys think? I think it could really help resolve this huge debate. Might as well just prepare for the worst.

Well I'm on dial up and therefore won't open this up. As soon as someone says it's just a stupid rant or something along those lines tis will be moved to IFIOTW or when I get to see it.

I understand his reasoning, however it's not really a simple choice between column A and B, acting and not acting.
In the real world, we can't possibly do everything. So we still have to decide, should we choose to act, in what way?
We also have to factor fossil fuel supply. Even if we pick column B and keep going as we are in spite of global warming, we physically can't. We won't be able to net release CO2 forever since we won't have non-renewables to burn.
