View Full Version : So, Japan is going whaling again. I have the solution.

I vote we round up enough Japanese citizens around the world to count for how many whales they are expected to kill, and murder one every time a whale gets killed. They figure there are enough whales for 'scientific research purposes', I figure there are enough Japanese for some good ol' genocide.

Least they have stopped the hump back hunt.

Why we should we care?

fuck off troll^

the answer to me seems obvious, just counter this whole scientific purposes argument. get some kind of comission to look at exactly what they are researching and why so many whales are needed. once you show that the hunting is not for science, shutting it down legally shouldn't be a drama.

australia is tracking and monitoring the hunts to get ammunition for a legal challenge, lets hope it works.

You fail to engage the question because you don't have a valid answer.

if i thought for a second you were after a reasonable answer i would have given one. you posted to try and get a rise out of people, and to show that you don't really care about whales.

the first makes you a troll, and no one cares about the second. i know you are now going to post fifty times and totally hijack this thread in an attempt to prove everyone else wrong about everything, and i am sorry i even responded to you.

as you were.

slave of the beast is just some intellectual faggot that will lead you into a maze and then trap you in it. best not to read his posts

It's too late RAOVQ, the maze door has already slammed shut behind you.

Let the games begin!

Have you been playing with dimethyl mercury in the chemistry lab? Because those mental processes don't seem quite as sharp as they did a few months ago; the topic of whale hunting has nothing to do with GP:

Green Planet
Environmental issues. The ozone hole. Tree hugging for fun and profit. Toxins in the air, water, and soil. Biotechnological foodstuffs.

Noah's Ark
This is a forum for anything animal related. Posts about pets, animal care, habitats, and domestic and wild animals can be posted here. Even if it wasn't on the arc, it's still welcome.

Of course maybe I'm just being old fashioned in thinking that clearly defined forum descriptions actually mean something. If, on the subject of mercury poisoning, the OP wished to discuss the effect on whale populations as a result of environmental pollution then that might be different. But that's not what he's done, not even close.

The OP goes on to suggest that quid pro quo slaughter of the Japanese population is an acceptable response to whaling. Your first response in this thread is to then accuse me of trolling. But Ravey baby, it's a troll thread - a misplaced one at that. Therefore you can hardly accuse me of lowering the intellectual tone!

if it's the blubber they're after why not grow it in a lab? I'm pretty sure there is some research like that, that NASA is doing as a means to provide food on long term space travel.
