Greetings, last Kira game was horribly orchestrated although I am convinced my rules were fine. I guess some of it could be altered though.

So please post your thoughts/suggestions here.

If you aren't L then can you still go after kira? (if so, wouldn't he just kill you?)

What are Kira supporters supposed to do if they don't have the eyes?

I tend to take this a step further. Anyone can try and capture Kira, L recieves some kind of additional aid in this, etc. I want to game to start within 8 days after sign-up closure. Also, sign-up dates will be made known on the forum so that these signups are finished quickly.

Kira sends an e-mail to the game administrator who then posts the death in the News. Yes, if you are not L your purpose is to go after Kira by trying to identify with L, let him know that you're a supporter subtly and to help him narrow down the search.

hmm let me see, I joined in around about the SECOND Kira game, so by no means was this my idea in origin. And you are the mother fucker, I don't like incestious affairs.

Modification of my original idea: Everyone is divided evenly into two even teams, and a kira and L randomly assigned. Everyone is given a name and a code. Everyone knows their own, one other person is randomly told the name of a player on the opposite team, and another is told this players code (these are associated with usernames so you know whose it is, and essentially everyone knows who at least two players on the other team are). Kira and L do not give out these pieces of information to start with. The object of the game for kira is to deduce the identity of or kill L, and for L it is to figure out or arrest kira. If they make a guess and get it wrong they have to give a piece of their identity to the person they guessed. The guess is not announced publicly. The mechanisms for arresting and killing are the same; you need to have a name and a face.

For every other transfer of information, it's made public who is giving something to someone else, just not whose information it is.

It doesn't adhere to the show exactly (L refused to make guesses) but I think the spirit of it, the value of information and using what you know to figure out what's going on would come through. Less based on the assumption that everyone is roleplaying their characters. I guess it might be implausible since with two chances to guess and knowing who two supporters are you would need at least 10 people to ensure you wouldn't know you could win by just using both guesses. Come to think of it you would need more than that since the chances are still pretty good.
