So I WAS going to post the entire text in here but fucking Adobe won't let me copy paste it.... so I'm going upload the .pdf for the Patent of production methods of Nitropolystyrene.
It lists several ways to go about it and, physical properties of the substance

Ugh... ok... so whats the point? This info is widely available and it it known that nitropolystyrene isn't all that great.

Again, already widely distributed.

obviously I did not know, same as I have not had occasion to make it yet.
you think at least ATTEMPTING to contribute would be met with more grace :(
be glad I actually READ it rather than dismissed it cause it didn't say ANARCHY on the cover

what about OTHER pyros just starting who don't want to waste time scouring the internet to find a DL link for Shimizu's book?
who the fuck would have know to search for "CF" as a title as a newb? as it is I only found it by coincidence
be fucking glad that as a newb to the scene I'm staying away from the stupid shit that gets kids killed. If I knew that trying to help others just starting to find the right path was going to be met with "I already have it" (bear in mind you are THE most experienced here). I wouldn't have paid 20 bucks for this account

Ever heard of torrents?

Ok... Just FYI, there are thousands of explosives out there... when you find something you think is new... chances are it was originally invented prior to the 80s.
Generally in this forum we don't just post links to books and such as the links always go stale, we either torrent that shit to those who we know are responsible enough to not be retarded with the info, or if its little things email it.

see now I knew that, yes it IS an explosive. what you don't seem to realize is that I was thinking more alone the lines of using it for legal purposes such as stated in the title.
I remember reading in the APC forums that one could cover a cork with NC to use in HNO3 distillations to keep degradation to a minimum. I simply though that as stated in the patent that this could be used as an alternative as it states quite clearly that it's simply more acid resistant than NC. any smart fuck who wants to keep a ghetto rig running can read the title and say to himself "hey, this could prevent me from buying that expensive ass glassware" for the simple investment of a few bottles of walmart vintage, a PVC condenser, and stump remover and roebics.
I understand the "responsible user" argument but srsly... actually....my earlier point about the title of this thread stands here too. what if they simply didn't know before hand?
and at what point did i give the impression that i think its a new explosive? how many scientists and fucktards have nitrated everything from pencil erasers to steaks? (lol although the scientists would have more fun choosing the area of the cow to use based upon lipid content)
you put the NO2 group on anything and its likely to detonate am I right?
Edit: although this has been a good chance to exercise debate skills I have had no chance to use since high school I feel it accomplishes nothing...please concede the fact that this does help people.
edit 2: also, even though I have posted this in LT, could you tell me the best way to clean a graham condenser that had been used in a metallurgy lab? unknown as to the materials used in it...strong oxidizer followed by h2so4 and hcl?

I don't mean to debate with you.
"They are soluble in nitric acid"
I don't think they would be so great for protecting corks and such. Aside from the above most explosives will decompose overtime in the presence of acids.
Not saying it will or wont work. :)

No need to get defensive.
Asilentbob is correct, and he played a large part in the distribution of a pyro torrent which was a compilation of all pyrotechnics/HE e-books available at the time.
That being said, thank you for the effort.
