Knight of blacknes

Greetings fellow anime seeing, manga wielding totseans,
Like promissed I have thought out a whole new Kira game. No more lifecodes or guessworks. A totally new system of statements, deductions, arguments, etc. will now rule the intelectual battlefield. The game is based on the Japanese only DS game called "Kira Game" (how original)
I've taken all the good stuff from this game and left all the bad. I took those ideas and molded them into something that can be applied to a forum based game, like this. Again, L and Kira go head to head in a filthy, backstabbing bout of deceit, thought and deception.

The Game
This is a game of deception and argumentation. Two rivals, Kira and L, compete to beat the other. The concept is leant from the anime/manga serie’s Death Note. From the pool of players one person is selected to be Kira and one to be L. L will try to catch Kira and arrest him. Kira will try and find out who is L and kill him or have him arrested for being Kira.
Rules of the Game
Victory Conditions:
The game can be won by several means. Specifics aren’t included here.
For Kira:
1. Find out L’s real name and kill him with the Death Note
2. Frame L and have him arrested for being Kira
3. Kill everyone until only Kira and L remain
Anyone of these will result in Kira winning the game.
For L:
1. Find out who is Kira and arrest him
Scenario:
At the beginning of the game a certain scenario of events that have taken place will be presented to the player pool. This will be in the form of a short story how L has arrived where he is at now.
Statements:
Every week a random person is selected to come up with a statement regarding the Kira Investigation. This statement will have to soundly backed by arguments and conclusions. EVERYONE must reply to this statement at least once that week. You must either:
a. Back up the statement. You may also add to this.
b. Negate the statement. You must then say why you think otherwise.
c. Say you have no comment on this statement.
One rule: Statements and comments upon them cannot be passed anonymous.
Black List:
This is a list with all the most likely candidates for being Kira. At the beginning this will be made by the scenario. However people may be added or dropped of this list as time progresses and certain facts are established. L has total control over this feature.
Roles:
Kira: Needs to Kill L. (1 person)
L: Needs to catch Kira. (1 person)
Investigator: Member of the Kira Investigation Team. Aids L in finding Kira.
Kira’s Rules
1. Kira can either kill criminals or choose to not kill criminals. Killing criminals will gain him popular support. However if he is under observation by L and he is killing criminals he will be placed on the Black List. If he is already on it, he will be raised to the 1st place on the Black List.
Death Note:
1. The person’s whose name is written in this note shall die.
2. You can write down a name in this note, once every * hours.
L’s Rules:
1. Survive, catch Kira.
Arrests
Every week, an arrest warrant is signed out. Every player must then vote for whoever he thinks is Kira. If the vote concludes with a 2/3' majority that someone is Kira, this person is arrested.
Investigator Rules:
1. You may say anything in debate.
2. You may react to anything said.
3. You may draw any conclusion.
4. You may pose as either Kira or L.
5. You owe allegiance to the one of your choosing, this is not set or permanent.
6. When you have died (or are arrested) you may not: Draw conclusions on who is Kira or who is L or Start new discussion. You may: react to other’ debates but not give any conclusions.
NOTE: Additional role's may be present which are unknown to the general population. Also there may be additional secret rules for Kira or L.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it for now.
As you might have noticed, this game is more lead-by-the-hand then just assigning two people as Kira and L and let them guess and shout away at each other. However I think that by having some scenario to get the game started and a little scenario building along the way, the game can be much more fun. In any case I've made the scripted scenario parts (beginning scenario and the statements) so freely that it will not impede on gameplay. People are still free to speak how they want and defend themselves how they see fit.
I have absolutely no idea how long this game will last until conclusion.
