Suggest a Manga?

I'm looking for a new manga, I've only just started getting into it a few weeks ago, and for the most part, I've only read a few series through to the most recent chapter. I'm looking for something relatively shallow, that you don't have to think too hard about; I like that in my books, not manga (though I have to say, I did like Death Note). Mild amounts of humour, and lots of action. Not a fan of anime, just manga. So far, I've liked:

In all honesty, I don't know anyone who would be able to recommend anything to me, so I've been basing a lot of what I read off the most popular ones at OneManga. Anyone have something I might like?

hellsing is my favorite manga so far.

ghost in the shell is pretty good. havn't had a chance to finish that one.

those are all pretty old ones. i don't rly have time anymore to read much that much manga, so meh.

To further expand upon previous mentioned mangas, Hunter X Hunter is probably the second greatest manga I've ever read.

Their powers and power ups in the series are not based off emotion, but strategy and tactics.

The characters generally know if they'll win or lose against someone and must develop a deep strategy in order to excel against their opponents, but at the same time... their opponents are doing the exact same thing.

I love the series due to the deep fights and complexity of it all.

It's no... DBZ, I'm stronger than you, power up bullshit.

I'd say it's more like a chess game.
