I've got some chocolate brown jeans like this:

Now without looking too dressy, what goes with them?

Poop.

...or try a selection of polo shirts...This isn't really a case of "what style shirt goes well?", more, "what colour?"

If Lovecraft reads this, do you still have that colour chart to hand?

youre gonna look like a 60 year old schoolteacher regardless of what you wear them with.

Brown trousers aren't actually that hard to pull off. Just make sure you stay away from other dark colours (especially more brown). White, as a neutral colour, goes with just about anything. As well, blue, green, orange and yellow would go well, just make sure it's a light shade. Faded colours would be even better, I would imagine.

I wear brown cords with a white shirt and it goes fairly well, gotta be careful with it though, it either looks good or ridiculously bad.

Goddamn, you're a man- don't refer to anything as "Chocolate brown" anythings! They're just brown pants.
Try a striped polo, a classy manly one, not a tight frat boy type.

Make it white and blue thin stripes.

Neutral colors are your friend. Try a light, button-up shirt in the white/off-white/beige/tan/cream or light blue color family, and white sneakers.

Nope sorry.

I think most pastel colours should go with them, except yellow.

An arrow tattoo on your lower back that points downwards followed by the words "male only entry point!" above your anus.

That's always seemed more like a blood red to me.

And if you were to run your hand up and down it, it would turn lighter/darker.

You're wearing an earth tone, so you need to match accordingly.

I however can't give you good advice because I don't have a single piece of clothing with brown in it. An article of clothing (specifically pants) that is a solid brown, and isn't part of a suit, can look really bad if you're not careful.

Apple-bottom jeans are a bit different from boot-cut chocolate brown jeans.
