Onne of thier "tag" headlines over there:

"TV commercials are killing our planet by causing catastrophic carbon emissions... okay, this is just getting stupid now"
That's the headline, unadulterated, everything inbetween the quotes is a direct copy and paste.

Anybody here seen the article (different site, not sure where) where terrorism is blamed on global warming?
Or the one where the clean air is contributing to global warming?

Terrorism: Living conditions are getting bad in some countries causing them to terrorize thier neighbors.

Clean air: The particulate matter in the atmosphere used to be reflecting the suns rays, now that you hippie dolts have cleaned that up somewhat more of the suns rays are getting through and causing global warming.

The longer this global warming thing goes on, the more you people that buy it are looking like religious zealots.

The TV commercial one is pretty funny. I don't get how that works besides having a percentage of time with the tv on where you aren't wanting to watch it...What makes this funnier is the fact there are so many pledge drive-like advertisements on television trying to raise money to help the environment or wildlife or educate people about things.

I'm not so sure about the terrorism one, I think living conditions is more economics, however as I'm in Australia and have had "ZOMG DROUGHT!!!" messages pummeled into me since around 2002 I can see how this could be angled and makes some sense. If some dirt poor and hungry country is starving they could attack others for their food and fertile soil.

The issue of air I always find a strange one. On one hand clean air will let extra rays in, on the other hand it can't be good with everything reflected and what we have already being trapped inside. Hmmm...air pollution is far from an easy problem to solve. Health effects is something else associated with this issue. Clean air may let rays in but is easier on the lungs but make sure you stay out of the sun kind of thing...

Thought provoking post OP, thank you :)

But is the "dirty air" more or less reflective than the ground below it?
