I'm looking for some gory Anime, really gory. Does anyone have any ideas?

those are the ones that i can think of, off the top of my head, that have the most blood and/or body parts flying around on-screen. i'm not particularly into gory stuff so somebody else around here can probably top off this list better.

Fist of the North Star. It's kinda old on the one hand, but on the other it's got exploding heads.
Mezzo Forte is pretty gory, plus it has some hardcore sex too. You can't go wrong.
Finally, there's Ninja Scroll. Plenty of gore there. Also at one point a snake creeps out of a vagina. You'll dig it.

Although I liked Akira, before I saw it everyone kept saying how gory it was, I didn't see it

there are buckets of blood flying around and it does have a pretty high body count. my favorite scene is where the medical staff finds tetsuo wandering around the halls and, next thing ya know, they're splattered all over the walls. i love the way one dude's arm just kinda drips down from the ceiling.
i suppose, by today's standards, it's not rly that gruesome. i blame the internet for desensitizing me to almost any sort of carnage known to man.
elfen lied and wicked city are probly the most gory out of the ones that i listed earlier. also, perfect blue has lots of what the op is looking for.

Ive just seen the first 3 minutes of Devil May Cry, and that seems pretty bloody. Just thought I'd post it in case anyone else is looking for some gory anime, it's not really gory, but there's blood pouring out of demons, and demons getting their head exploded.

yeah...now that i think about it, most of the blood, gore and pr0n i've seen in the last few years was linked on totse.
mnemosyne. i'm still in the middle of this series, but i'm pretty sure that it has a lot of what the op is looking for. good artwork, great story, blood, body parts, lesbian sex scenes, and fucking zombies.
okay, the zombies are only in the first episode but it's still a really good show.
rin asogi has replaced yomiko readman as my favorite anime chick. <3

I was just about to post gantz. This is one of my favorite Animes, great story and tons of gore. However the manga is WAY better than the anime IMO.

ANYTHING by Uziga Waita. He does goro with a lot of sex. By far the most gory of the bunch. For example, some guy gets made fun of by this girl, hes a bit of an idiot. So he kidnaps her, stuffs her full of roaches and then pulls her inside out. There's one called girl in concrete. It's based on a true story.

Perfect Blue is good for a lot reasons then just the gore.
theres a Koroshiya anime it might also be called ichi the killer if its anothing like the manga it will very gory
