If your program/career requires you to have more education, training, or experience after you've finished the university component, will the university aid you with the process?

For example, to become an accountant in Canada, you need to have employment experience with an accounting training firm after you've finished your degree. Would the university give you information about what you need to do when you're nearing graduation?

In high school they have guidance departments with lots of information about university and what happens next. Are universities the same? Or is it your responsibility to find out what happens next?

They are not as active as in high school. YOU have have to go find this stuff. A good place to check is with "Career Services" or something like that. Another place to find stuff might be a professor or alumni. The stuff is there, you just have to go find it.

The University might help depending on whether you ask for it/where you ask for it.

University wont help you with shit if you dont ask. Most advisors will help you with whatever you need

Yes, universities have student services and advising offices. People that work to help students move forward in their education and life.

Becoming an accountant is a bit of a headache, but it depends on what designation, if any, you're looking at.
