Too short?

I want to get nicer clothes and have a whole fashion makeover.
I know what I want mostly, but the problem is Im a small dude.

5'7 125lbs. 1/4 Asian (I put that because its apparent im not white)

Everything I find that I like in stores like Express,Bannana Republic, Armani,etc its too big. I try to the find the smallest jackets and such but they come down almost to my knees it seems.

I like to form fitting clothes as I am pretty muscley (think Bruce Lee).

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm only a little bit bigger than you and full asian, and I don't have that much of a problem. If I can actually find a small among all the L and XL sizes, it usually fits.

Usually the higher end stuff is tailored for smaller guys rather than the obese american. I'm surprised Armani is too big for you. I have a BR jacket (small) and it fits really well. I don't know if you have a short torso or what. Mexx and Zara pants fit me well. Hugo Boss jackets are always nice. Look for Boss Orange or Red.

Yep- I'm only 5'9ish and I'm (gasp) ALL white-man, who's weight varies depending on how much he eats compared to how much he smokes in a given week. I dunno man, I find stylish and/or well-made clothes are generally made for people my size, and you're not much smaller. Maybe the area you live in is densely populated with Shaqs and Yao Mings?

Until recently I wore a lot of tight (form fitting) shirts from Affliction, Dirtbag, etc. Along with my band t-shirts and normal jeans.

I never liked "baggy" shirts or anything that came below my waist.

5'9 is the world male avg. maximum height [i.e. not including people who aren't fully grown], IIRC.

I'm 5'7 and I don't find it too hard to get fitting clothes.

You know the line around the shoulder of clothing? For something to fit properly, that should be around just above the little V shape bone on your shoulder, a few inches from your neck.

Anyway, a lot of the time in fancy shops, they'll only have out the most common sizes. Ask an assistant if they have more sizes. My friends used to work in a H&M store and she told me that they do that. A lot of the time the fat/very tall/short clothes end up being bought more quickly.
