i am not a very good talker/writer but if perfection is an illusion. then technically, wouldn't god be an illusion? if we humans, the imperfect, created perfection, then aren't we all gods?

Wow. Don't get me wrong, I also think perfection is simply an ideal that does not exist.
But, what you are saying is that if we have created an ideal/concept, then, not we are the ones that have it and so, therefore we are the beings which we first attributed it to.
For instance: a being having one horn (a unicorn) is an idea (taken from bulls, rams, etc) that humans simply made up. Since we thought it up, humans are the beings that have one horn. FALSE.
It is much simpler, perfection is something we made up, but is simply an ideal. No one possesses it and it is highly contextual/subjective at best.
