I downloaded "multi proxy" and I couldn't figure out how to use it so I deleted it.
Now when I try to go to hotmail it says "firefox can't securely connect to login.live.com because the SSL protocol has been disabled."
Sorry for the noob question but I thought someone might be able to help me out in this forum. Thanks.

Um, no. Hacking is when someone penetrates your security without your knowledge or consent.
In this case, it had both.
Don't download and run strange programs. Even if it isn't picked up by antivirus, it could still fuck your configuration.

You gave consent when you voluntarily downloaded and ran it.
What'd you know: It seems the people that made Firefox can help you. (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox+cannot+connect+securely+because+the+SSL+pr otocol+is+disabled)

DO NOT USE strange software and public proxies.
