So I've decided, I'm going backpacking through a lot of Europe next summer some time. By the inter rail.
I'm starting out In my Home town in Norway, which is very close to the Swedish border, I plan to make my way through Scandinavia in one sitting since I've been to Both Sweden and Denmark a bunch of times, I Probably will Stop in Copenhagen for one or even two nights.

After that I Plan to make my way from Copenhagen to Hamburg, then from Hamburg to Wolfsburg and then to Berlin where I plan to spend night or Two, after that I plan to go straight to Warsaw and Spend another Night or Two there.

From Warsaw I plan to go to go straight to Prague, spend A night or two, then Straight To Bratislava, same thing there, Then Straight to Budapest, and Spend Probably only 1 night there. After that I plan to make my way towards Italy. Stopping Either in Milano Or Verona (I'm leaning towards Verona simply because it will mean Less train riding) For a Night or two.

Then I plan to Go through Ancona to Bari. Stopping One or Two Nights there. Then Through to Rome, again, Stopping one or two nights (All I really want to see is the Vatican city but w/e)
Then I'm going to work my way towards France as fast as possible. Towards Marseille.

From Marseille I might go to Barcelona, This I will decide when I get that far, depending on how much time and money I have, if Not then I'll head For Paris. One or Two Nights in Paris, The only real reason I even want to go through France is because of The Eiffel tower(which is also on my bucket list)

Then From Paris to Brussels, stop there for a night or two then From Brussels to Rotterdam one night or two there too. After that I might Got to Amsterdam, it depends on If I'm traveling alone or not though, If I'm alone I wont bother. Then Back to Brussels to Koln, then back to Hannover- Hamburg Back to Copenhagen where I plan to sit down and drink up the Rest of my Money/time before heading home.

I'm not completely sure If I'll be traveling alone, Two of my friends Said they were in (one of them was actually the one that started to push for a trip like this) But I don't trust them(or anybody), and I know both of them could easily back out, And one of them Recently got a New Girlfriend, and the Other a boyfriend. So that also, lets say complicate things. Either way if they'll join fine, if not. Fuck em. I can do this myself.

So anybody got any pointers? Names for Good Hotels/hostels camping sites etc. Yays and Nays, Must sees all that.
I got 5 weeks of Vacation, I'm hoping to spend over 30 days out of Norway (Bucket list again)
I'm 20 btw, Male. Will most likely be 21 when I leave.

TL/DR Version

So yo I'm going on mad drinkin binge around 'rope fo like 30 days. what shit should I see and shit?
i'll prolly be flyin solo except for random bitches and hoes i meat

I did interrail a year ago and had it planned just roughly, it was like an adventure everyday, of course with some backup plans in case we didnt find anywhere to sleep and stuff like that.
But I guess that just depends on tastes and personal preferences...

Just be sure if you go to amsterdam book beforehand on a HI HOSTEL at the centre of the city. We made a mistake and ended up sleeping in the suburbs (no fun at all) and the last busses took you there at 11:30 in the night, so we couldnt do anything at night over there...

Have fun and at least a general plan of what you want to do and where you want to go.

Cheers!

Will do. Also Is Brudges worth seeing?

Burn it up: I know, I was in Amsterdam two years ago, we went in the middle of the week and all the hostels were full.
We ended up in some semi dirty hotel a druggie showed us . It was pretty cheap though and central so it wasn't all that bad I guess. That's also why I don't really want to go to Amsterdam, It's a nice city and all but I'd rather spend a day or so extra In place I haven't been.

What I did in Amsterdam, which was a great experience, was go to the countryside on bike.
We were fud up of the city and all those drugged tourists at the 4th day, so we rented some bikes and crossed with a ferry to the north into the countryside and visited some villages by the north and then came back at night... A great day.
I think we went as far as Purmerend and visited some villages nearby.

Cheers ;)

I did this mid october, around the same time as now, last year, and I used Eurorail to get all around. I used hostelbookers.com I believe it was, and I did it 100% by myself for 3 and a half weeks.

Greatest time of my life.

Not to mention I'm from the US and never been to Europe until I flew in, not having a place to stay or nothing.

Good times.

Stay at The Yellow in Rome, that's all I can tell you. They gave me free jello shots til I passed out. Hahaha.

I still talk to a lot of the people I met when I was down there.

.. Lock your shit.

Peace

This, I like the idea of going alone too. So I'm almost hoping they will back out.
Feel like this trip might help me grow as a person or something cliché like that.

Hey man,I did something very similar to you a couple o' months back.If you want to save yourself some hassle and cash, depending on how organised you are...try a Eurail pass and if you aren't planning on going back to Milano on your way through to marseille, you'll be taking the coastal route through pisa to nice.I highly, highly reccomend stopping at a place called Manarola,it's a couple of stops after La Spezia from memory...it's an amazing place.Pretty much exactly the stereotype of "mediterranean village".

Hope this was at least some help...and if you need any more feel free to ask.

Is their any difference between Interail pass and the Eurail pass, from what I see it's pretty much the exact same thing.
Thanks for the advice, but like I said. The only thing I want to see is the Eiffel tower, besides that France is pretty much just "in the way" for Belgium and the Netherlands. (no offense if you're French or something like that, It sounds very nice but again, doesn't interest me)

I did the same thing last summer with 2 friends. All I can say is, spend as much time as you can in Bratislava and the surrounding area, especially an awesome campsite on a big lake in an area just a few miles away called Zlate Piesky (translation: golden sands). Camping and beer is dirt cheap (beer is cheap everywhere in that area of europe except the heavy tourist places like prague, cheaper further south in Croatia etc, then quite expensive in Italy), and in the summer months the lakeside is a popular sunbathing spot and let me tell you the women are FINE, and often topless. If you manage to communicate at all, even with broken slovak/english and hand signals, you're in for a great night in your tent for sure.

Thanks, I'll keep this in mind. I speak and understand some polish, I'm not sure but I think there are some similarities.
Cheap beer is always great, and where I'm from anything under 10$ a pint is cheap :P

Sounds damn fun. If you go with someone make sure they're worthy because there is nothing worse than traveling with someone who is bitchy/pissy/annoying and it can ruin the trip. Going by yourself would be far better, even though I'm not a big fan of it anymore.

Stay in hostels, try to find the slightly more upscale ones unless you really don't care. Eastern europe is far cheaper to party in and can be pretty wild, although knowing the language really helps. Russia is cool, namely go to st. petersburg if you can but I think it may be out of your way. Other countries are pretty much the same ball game anyway and probably cheaper.

Warsaw is cool, if you can't find a normal girl check out the brothels! It can be kind of pricey overall... try to buy beer and liquor from stores rather than bars or stands in the tourist area, the price difference is staggering. Try polish vodka, Zubrowka is made with bison grass and is cheap and tasty.
