I would love to see someone with a concealed weapon flip out and shoot the actors that are dressed up as aliens/monsters. That would be hilarious. And he'd probably get away with it in court too.

Lol. That would be pretty epic.
I'm sure it's happened before, but never made TV. I know Shannon Doherty has a contract signed where she's untouchable as a host because of people wanting to sue the fuck out of them for the insane shit they pull.

I always thought that would have to happen eventually, most of the shit they pulled was like life or death kind of stuff.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I think that the company who produces it must ask many questions to whoever wants to set up their friend. I doubt people set up friends if that friend is known to be prone to violence. I have a friend who has a concealed carry permit and I know I wouldn't set him up on a show like that.

Probably fake, though they don't give any details, so I don't think you can really know for sure. I just can't imagine a guy would shoot into a mailbox after it pushes his letter out. They also wouldn't air it in that format with the comedy music.

Classic moment for tv
They had one episode similar to what you are saying. The guy that was being set up thought he was going to set up other people. Let's call him Bob.
Bob is playing as a medical doctor and so is another actor. Bob is told to invite patients (they are actors, but Bob doesn't know about it) into the other doctor's office. Then the other doctor will take off his coat and become a werewolf. Bob knows that this is going to happen. After the patient freaks out Bob is supposed to then say "are you scared.....
Bob does as he's told and the other doctor turns into a werewolf. The patient is freaking out and Bob thinks it is funny. So the patient reaches into her handbag pulls out a pistol and shoots the actor (fake of course).
Bob did not expect this. He tells her it's all a TV show. He convinces the patient. She then says stuff to put him down like "why would you do such a stupid stunt". Bob calls for an ambulance, but the phone doesn't work.
The other doctor is still on the floor playing dead. The patient says to Bob "are you scared?"
"Yes."
"Well you shouldn't be. You're on Scare Tactics."
Bob doesn't believe her and tells her it is the other way around. He is serious.
The other doctor gets off the floor and convinces Bob that he was the one being set up.
I find most of their stunts boring, but this one was excellent.

you simply can't beat the one with gay dude in the lab..."Do you need help, little man!?!?!" lolllllllllllllllllll
I'm calling gay because he's in PETA and the guy that set him up I believe is called a "Special Friend" or something....either way he's fruity as fuck.
