Where did you go? How long were you there? Were the classes in a foreign language or English? And perhaps most importantly, how did you pay for it? Any good external sources for grants and scholarships? I've heard of people getting full funding from groups like the Rotary Club.

I ask because it came up today, and I'm thinking I'd like to go to Siberia this summer.

I can not give you any helpful information, but I would like to say that Siberia would be awesome.

Do it!!!

I went to India for a semester. I was able to use a private loan that I had taken out the previous semester to pay for it.

Are you a part of any of these groups? In order to receive funding and support, I believe you have to be involved.

i went to wales fro 10 months. i loved it. going abroad was one of the best life choices i have ever made an i recommend it to everyone that has the chance. my classes were all in english except for my course in welsh.

i paid for it with a scholarship from rotary as well as funding from my universities history department, an a scholarship i got from the state for being smart.

talk to your adviser as there is LOTS of money out there.

I was looking at schools in the USA , and always wondered in there post secondary classes if they use the metric or imperial system of measurement.

Typically metric. But the only place I've encountered that is in chemistry classes.
