What the fuck? Not a huge fan of the film but I liked it and remaking something that's only 5 years old is just lame as hell

I hate Steven Spielberg with a burning passion, 100% guarantee this will suck

Top 5 gayest things Spielberg ever did:
-not letting his kids watch Jurassic Park
-Schindler's List, hands down most overrated movie of all-time
-buying the sled from Citizen Kane for $50k and then refusing to fund Orson Welles' final film before he died (unbelievable)
-destroying Kubrick's vision with his corny-ass version of A.I.
-remaking Oldboy

well, it's going to get remade either way. this is america; we're out of ideas. just be glad that it's in good hands.

yes, there will be overly obvious differences when comparing this to the original, and most will consider it inferior for reasons both big and small. the original cast and staff could get together and re-shoot this film scene for scene and people would still say it blew compared to the original.

Will Smith? alright. Big Willie is cool. I respect the hell out of him. but for the past 15 years, he's had way too big of a "blockbuster" thing going on. every summer a new Will Smith movie comes out, where he's some guy in some crazy situation; and he's on the poster, big as hell, wearing sunglasses. hopefully this isn't one of those movies. for fuck's sake, Will Smith; star in a fucking MOVIE for once. not a visual multi-million dollar win or lose situation.

and hell, same goes for Speilberg. I mean he's great, but god-damn. nevertheless, I'd choose James Cameron over him any day. atleast his money is put toward perfection.
