Yes, I have adjusted the settings externally using the buttons on the side of the monitor.

Yes, I have adjusted the contrast.

Yes, the brightness, contrast and gamma settings are all at zero.

Yes, I have adjusted the windows appearance settings by changing all of the windows and borders to dark colors.

Yes, it is still WAY too fucking bright.

It's not insignificant it's really fucking bright and pisses me off (I never have the lights in my room on so please don't tell me to turn them on because I will not). I'm not giving it away I'm offering it up for trade. I'm looking for a REALLY dim monitor, one that lets off VERY LITTLE fucking mother FUCKING light. PERIOD.

I would also appreciate advice on how to adjust the monitor settings via control panel or whatever in windows XP faggot edition.
