well, blagojevich finally got arrested and indicted on federal corruption charges. its about damn time. hes a complete dirtbag and has done nothing but fuck over illinois. hes going to jail for hopefully a long time (maybe not w/ a pardon or a stupid jury). illinois has certainly had a long history of corrupt governors. 4 out of the last 8 have seen jail time. thats just sad. im disgusted to be living in illinois right now.
he honestly thought he could get away with everything he did? hes gotta be fucking insane or extremely arrogant. hes been under investigation the last few years and he goes and tries selling a senate seat. i hope he goes to jail and gets ass raped by someone.

"FBI agents arrested Blagojevich and his chief of staff, John Harris, early Tuesday on federal corruption charges related in part to the selection of President-elect Barack Obama's successor to the Senate, the U.S. attorney's office said."

The FBI busted the Governor of Illinois by wiretapping him. The guy went on a whole crime spree.
Obama hasn't even taken the President's seat yet and already there's people making him look bad. Both the Governor and his Chieff of Staff were arrested.

If Obama's former seat is for sale, there should be a discount for having to clean Donald Young's semen off of the cushion (you know, when it trickled out of Obama's ass).

Fifth I believe. Though in the other cases, they waited until AFTER he left office to do that. Yes, Illinois (and ESECAIALLY CHICAGO, look at the Daleys) Politics is corrupt.

Wow, the arrest of a governor, you don't see that every day. Unfortunate how corrupt everything is. When will people start molotoving everything?

The sad thing about that is Illinois isn't even the most corrupt state. I was reading some article on Yahoo about that, and apparently Alaska, North Dakota and some other state rank ahead of them.

Though he's pretty much guaranteed prison time if/when he gets convicted (lol, Democrat = no Bush pardon-love), you can pretty much bet he's not going to end up in some maximum security prison with the rapes and the beatings.

New York. Albany City Council seats cost as much money as this tool was trying to get for a Senate.

At least NYers have the common decency to resign, and not be arrested.
New Jerseyians can't even put on a seatbelt.

His approval rating was 4% before he was arrested, what a douchebag. It's estimated that 4% of the population are sociopaths, maybe theirs a relation between the two?

there always the chance of obama pardoning him though. even if he is trying to distance himself from blagojevich, theres still the chance.

True, but that's at least 2 years prison time, because he's not gonna do it at the start of his term, and probably not at the end where it's gonna ruin his chances for re-election.
And honestly, I can't see him pardoning a greedy moron who is perfectly willing to screw the party over for his own agenda.
Good sign of what you're in for when you elect somebody purely on race from that shit hole.
