I've been super sick lately so my mommy made me a really yummy drink called a Hot Toddy. I never even thought of whiskey being served hot, but this is fucking delicious.
She a few shots of whiskey in a cup with boiling water, lots of lemon, some honey with ginger in it, and a clove.
On a shitty winter day this is probably the best pick me up I could imagine.
So this got me thinking, other then the standard Bailies and Kahluah, what liquor can be served in hot drinks? Something that warms you right from the inside.

Hot buttered rum
* 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
* 2 cups light brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
* Pinch ground cloves
* Pinch salt
* Fifth of dark rum
* Boiling water
In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Refrigerate until almost firm. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture into 12 small mugs. Pour about 3 ounces of rum into each mug (filling about halfway). Top with boiling water (to fill the remaining half), stir well, and serve immediately.

Taken from a thread a made ages ago. It's not strictly a hot drink, but put more alcohol in it and get blasted. Or serve it warmed through, Eggnog:
Eggs + heavy cream + milk + bourbon + nutmeg. Keeps you warm (ok, so the booze doesn't ACTUALLY keep you warm) and helps you put on a protective layer of bulk in the long run for the upcoming winter months. It's got protein, healthy fats.... not-so-healthy fats and booze!
You'll need:
4 egg yolks.
1/3 cup sugar, plus 1 tablespoon.
1 pint whole milk.
1 cup heavy cream.
6 ounces bourbon (I used wild turkey, and while it sounds like very little, the flavor of wild turkey goes far).
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg.
4 egg whites.
1 Glass.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in color. Gradually add the 1/3 cup sugar and continue to beat until it is completely dissolved. Add the milk, cream, 3 ounces of bourbon, nutmeg and stir to combine.
After doing this combine the remaining bourbon with the glass. Drink.
Place the egg whites in the bowl of a stand mixer and beat to soft peaks. With the mixer still running gradually add the 1 tablespoon of sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Whisk the egg whites into the mixture.
Chill, serve and enjoy.

My dad used to make that as well, when I was little, without the honey though.

2 oz Vodka
1 oz Coffee liqueur
½ oz semen
cream or milk
ice cubes
Pour vodka, semen and coffee liqueur over ice
cubes and top up the glass with milk or cream.

The classic Peach Schnapps, Drambuie, and Fireball are all quality additives for hot drinks.

I was in Germany over Christmas last year and went to a few of their festivals, and at every single one they had at least 20 stalls serving Gluehwein which is a hot spiced wine and is absolutely delicious and warming. Plus it has a very unnoticeable kick, for Two euro fifty you get a free mug too!

i have always been a fan of hot cocoa an a shot or two of peppermint schnapps.
or for those really cold nights maybe some hot cocoa an a shot or two of marijuana tincture.

I recently thought of adding that mint bailey's to hot chocolate. I'm certain it's not an original thought, but melted chocolate in milk is fucking amazing, so a little mint and booze couldn't hurt;)

1 L everclear
1 gal apple juice
1 gal apple cider
7 cinnamon sticks
4 cups sugar
bring to a boil on the stove (will take hour and a half or so) Then cool in the fridge. Don't drink until it's cooled completely down. Remove cinnamon sticks before consumption. Gets you fucking blasted drunk and the bitches love it. Can't taste the everclear at all and it tastes just like apple pie.

my mistake, wrote it wrong. you add the everclear at the end after you cool it down and mix well.

This sounds really really good. If I can get my hands on that much everclear I'll make up a huge batch. I'll probably substitute vodka for the everclear though because I'm cheap.

I'd probably recommend only doing it with everclear. It gives it potency and doesn't change the flavor.

Or I could dump a bunch of vodka in and ignore the weird flavor. I don't even know if everclear is legal in Ontario LCBO's. Our liquor laws are tighter then our five year olds.

As for hot booze... I like to throw 2oz shots of rye in the microwave for three minutes then throw it back. It causes second degree burns in the throat and gets ya drunk.

1/4 oz. Marschino cherry juice
1 marschino cherry
1 oz. scalded cream
I like it hot:
2 oz. Hot Damn Cinnamon schnapps
8 oz. Darjeeling Tea (hot fresh brewed)
2 oz. vodka (or everclear)
Stir with a cinnamon stick.
