Locking up somebody's cell phone

Here's a lame but easy way to really fuck somebody's phone up and (I think) get away with it.

1. Create a fake AIM account

2. Install Tor and set it up to work with AIM

3. Add victim's phone number to your buddy list

4. Use a free macro program to record and play you repeatidly sending an insulting IM to the person's phone number and thus sending it their phone as a text message.

Do it fast enough and you will lock up their phone with a never ending stream of text messages. I've only done this for a few seconds at a time to test it out and it works perfectly. Not sure if you could just leave it on over night to completely lockup and probably drain somebody's phone.

For an added bonus, target somebody who doesn't have unlimited texts.

You can do this by mass sending SMS text to a person on a phone. My sister's old phone could send me a message to 8 different people at a time, well instead they just put your phone number all 8 times. Then just went to the sent box and hit resend like 5 times. Locked my phone up and took 10 minutes for them all to come in after I restarted my phone and another 5 minutes to clear them.

If you have a unlimited text plan its a fun way to fuck a person over as they can't block text messages.

It was stuff like that that makes me wonder why the phone companies ever charged for INCOMING texts or phone calls, its not like you have any control over it.
