So 945+ chipsets all have efi, has anyone ever tried to enable it via bios flashing? xp64 & vista & *nixes all support it...

was at work and got home, had dinner etc... when I realisd that my phone was missing, tried calling it etc but to no avail, anyways it was in the washing machine.
it was needless to say very very wet and did not work.
it is a sony K700i model and I am very attatched to it so please tell me anything that i could do to make her work again,

I'm buying a laptop and there are options to buy a wireless network card (such as this one: Netgear WG511T Super G 108Mbps PCMCIA PC Card), and a wireless access point (such as Netgear WGT624 Super G 108Mbps Cable Router) . What i need to know is what the difference between the two is and what they are used for/ could be useful for.

i have a satellite internet connection coming into a router
i connected a adsl router to the bb router

i can only get one pc working at a time.
when i disconnect the dhcp from the router i added i dont get a ip address from
the broadband router...

is this isp fault or my config?

I searched the forums and was unable to find a thread about this, so I'm asking myself. Is there a dramatic difference in performance for certain brands at the same price or are they all basically the same? Could someone give me some suggestions to get between $100-$200. Obviously, nothing real fancy for these prices but maybe the best choice in that price range. Or should I abandon the idea of skimming on price altogether and save some more loot? Any help would be appreciated!

how can i check where most of my disk space is being used up? it says im low on disk space but what i believed to be my biggest folder was only 15gb, and im not running any large programs.

Alright, I acquired a laptop and I have reason to believe it has LoJack or any other similar security device enabled on the laptop. How would I go about disabling it? Also, the laptop says it contains a "radio device" - does that mean it has a GPS? It also says that it is WiFi enabled on the laptop.

i have a dell wireless 2350 broadband router and when i plub a cable from my laptop to ethernet port on the router it connects...then disconnects...then connects...and disconnects and so on.

i have reset the router with no success.

is the router broken? i tried installing dell setup utillity but it just says no router connected

has anybody got any knowledge on this...i want to make sure i havent missed something before i tell my client he should replace the router.

Sometimes when I close out totse, sometimes other websites, a ton of internet windows pop up, and they dont stop. Closing all of them doesn't stop it, neither does right clicking and selecting "Close Group". The only way to stop it is to bring up the Task Manager and close IEXPLORE.EXE under the processes tab.

WTF is going on?

My Oblivion play/install disc is a bit scratched from various abuse over time, it worked fine but I formatted this hard drive and after I tried to install it again, it seems at around 83% it can't read it, which cancels in installation.

My question is, does anyone know of any software to recover these missing parts?

I'm considering taking the entire thing down with brass polisher or something of the sort and seeing if that works but I'd like to try something less drastic first.

I tried ripping it with ISO buster as well, but it goes fine until 83%, then took about 2 hours to get past 83% and onto 84% so I pretty much gave up. Does anyone know if I leave it it'll make a proper rip of it or will it just stay stuck on 84/85%?
