GPP is bad grammar
Now i'm sure this will get a Vietnam forest-worth of flames, but I was just thinking- 'Games People Play' is grammatically incorrect. It should be 'Games That People Play', or possibly 'The Games That People Play'. Losing 'that' is an Americanism. If you think about it, it doesn't really make any sense without 'that'.
You can only understand the meaning from a sort of structure left by the correct sentence. |
Re: GPP is bad grammar
Being the authority on grammar here at totse, allow me to say that "Games People Play" is perfectly fine.

Oh, dear. We can't have Americanisms. Best revert it to the Queen's English.
