Radiohead fans, have you listened to this...

^^

Got that link posted on greenplastic.com. I thought Radiohead fans may be interested in taking a listen to this tribute CD since Radioheads new album is taking an eternity  .. Personally I thought the covers were unique and original, can't say I enjoyed all the covers however I did particularly take a liking to track 10. "No Surprises" as well as track 5. "Let Down" track 8. "Electioneering" is also pretty interesting.

.peace.

A little birdy told me it's going to be called 'Down Is The New Up' and will contain the following tracks:

15 Step
All I Need
Arpeggi
Bangers'N'Mash
Bodysnatchers
Down Is The New Up
House Of Cards
Last Flowers
Nude
Open Pick
Reckoner
Videotape

I've only heard the rough live mixup version and it sounds alright - nothing too great. It's grown on me a little bit though I suppose - especially House Of Cards and Arpeggi.

edit: uploaded it for you if you're interested... don't worry it's not illegal (I think) - it hasn't been released; they're all bootlegs.

well since the eraser was a thom yorke solo album it shouldn't really count when talking about radiohead, but i still think it was a solid record

An album consisting of a bunch of B-sides and old songs? I don't buy that shit.

BAOD: I agree completely. Also the more I listened to The Eraser the more it grew on me .. vocally Thom Yorke is amazing so I really like The Eraser for Thom vocals and lyrics many of the beats imo are unique as well.

Yeah most definitely, both of those albums are classics .. even Amnesiac has plenty of great tracks ... Spinning plates, Pyramid song and many others, all of their albums imo are have something special about them .. and yeah No Surprises IS in fact and excellent song :) Let Down is another one of my all time favorites.

do you frequent the greenplastic forums? i was quite a fan of radiohead a little while ago, and still am, though ive also become frustrated with the lack of a new album (ive listened to bootlegs of the new songs) and have started branching out to other music. but yeah, still really like them. i saw them at bonnaroo two years ago and they were pretty awesome.

I don't, however I DO check that site for update's and news since I believe it to be one of the best sites dedicated to Radiohead, one in which continuously has new current updates.

And I understand your anticipation for a new album, it has been quite awhile since their last album as a band.. I hope they release a new one soon. Btw that must have been pretty cool seeing them live, I've have yet to see them live.
