Op3nYD3, I think you need to read the topic entitled "The mistake all atheists make, except me". I think you are just a little confused. Just because you can find flaws in the Christian bible doesn't mean that there is no god. I believe you should think before you post anything else. It's people like you that give newbs like me a bad name.

Don't base your belief in the existence of God on Christianity.
Christians didn't create God, they just interpretted it in their own way. It doesn't mean they're automatically right, though many of them think they are. If you are convinced that the Christian interpretation of God is the only evidence or knowledge we have of God, you are being very close-minded. Open your mind and research all the theories, science and religion you can, and I'm sure you'll find out what God really is. *edit* I don't mean to come off and say that you shouldn't believe what you believe, because it is up to you, and I've learned to respect people for what they believe in. I just don't like the fact that people accept the christian interpretation of God as the only interpretation of God. I have agnostic friends, atheist friends, christian friends, and catholic friends. I have friends of all sorts, in my opinion, whether you are atheist or christian, one thing is for certain: We all need to just try to get along regardless of religious belief.
