Well, I suppose I've been a bit ignorant when it comes to your religion for the last couple of days, with bashing it and all.

As some of you might know, I have a strong disbelief in organized religions. I believe that a truly intelligent person does not close all possibilities by subscribing themselves to one religion.

I believe it is folly, but I think I may have insulted some of you in the process and I am truly sorry if I have.

But I just recently had I thought, where I realized how ignorant I have been when it comes to your beliefs.

My thought was "A truly intelligent person does not undermine others beliefs" which I believe is very true.

Although I have no faith in organized religions, all of the people I have insulted have my deepest apologies.

I will try my best not to do it again.

Most definately, where were you on my post a ways back about building on others peoples thoughts and beliefs. I think I compared the overall concsiousness to a pyramid. To advance to "The Answer" or whatever you are searching for you must take all things that have come before you and attempt a connection with your own insight.

an interesting thought i found in "Simulacra and Simulation" Jean Baudrillard...i'd say one of the main inspirations behind the matrix...any how here's the quote (from memory):

For those who do no know, simulacra means Image in Latin, and...i believe simulacrum is a word in the english language, which is a bout the same: image/simulation (matrix )

All religions (OK, most) have the same goal but different ways to reach that goal. If we choose to follow one religion, we are accepting that path, but that doesn't mean that all other paths are wrong.

Just because there are so many religions, does not mean that you should choose not to become a member of any religion.
