Re: 3com SuperStack 3 3300

This shit kind of reminds me of old computers, probably because it basically is. I had to fucking telnet to it to reinitialize it, then I fucked the settings up 3 times in a row and finally had to Google what the fuck I was trying to do. Turns out there is no default IP AT ALL. You literally are REQ...

Re: Self defense whip?

It would be cool to modify one to fit inside a small enough package that you could electrify the probe on it. Imagine getting whipped AND electrocuted Sounds like a flexible cattle prod. I'd be afraid of it coming back and shocking me. Yeah that's kind of what I'm picturing, but maybe not as floppy...

3com SuperStack 3 3300

Just picked up one of these bad boys from eBay the other day and it arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, it was literally just the unit in a box, so I now had to order a null modem cable to really see what this thing can do, as it's not on the default settings (nor would I expect it to be). LUCKILY I h...

So I picked one of these badboys up to replace my eGo C Upgrade that was no longer taking a charge, and I'm not going to lie, at very first I was mad because it was saying my cartridge that smokes just fine on the eGo C was shorted out. Well, before putting it in the box to return it I decided I'd t...

For some reason I'm drawn to economic based games, and that's what RCT 1 and 2 are more or less about: economics.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 suck

I got this expecting it to be semi-decent, especially after reading reviews and seeing that it's supposed to be like RCT 1 only 3D and didn't even get the second disc in before I knew this game was going to be garbage. First of all, the 3D kind of sucks, so it's like looking at a shittier version of...

Re: Getting a bit dry around here

Yeah for the most part. Until NiS or MAYBE Totseans closes it's doors I'll likely never see much activity. On the surface all it would take is 10 daily posters to increase activity enough to start pulling in legit NEW users. The one thing NiS lacks is Google presence due to the poor choice in name. ...

'cool mist' difussers

So this house has a stank ass downstairs bathroom, and having bad luck with wax burners in the past, I figured I'd give a cool mist diffuser a try, and let me tell you these are fucking GREAT. First of all, it started smelling good the second I hit the power button, and it's already completely repla...

Some old electronics aren't a terrible source. Dryers have a lot of thick copper wire in them, plus you can sell the knobs for like $5 a piece, the motor for $30, and scrap the shell and drum.

Oh, and the reason for the extended downtime: -The server absolutely REFUSED to power back on. Would just sit there power cycling into infinity. If cost is a major factor I would maybe get one that's either untested or confirmed unworking. It's usually a bad cap, or in the case of Commodore 64s it's usually a fried GPU/CPU/Memory because they didn't use heatsyncs

I have installed the community plugin which will allow you to upload any file size and number of photos. That can be a bad idea if someone wants to spam with a ton of pictures or try and upload a picture that's hundreds of MB or even GB in size. Fuckery can be had. It would absolutely time out first.
