Re: Roe V Wade gets overturned
Personally I have no problem with abortion. The world is already dangerously overpopulated and the last thing we need are people being forced into raising kids they don't want. I think it should be a list though, like, 3rd abortion gets you spayed/neutered and the DNA of the fetus gets entered into ...

Yeah.... I'mma sit this one out. The first two people who tried "discussing" this with me have all but spit venom over the idea that it's not going to turn into Nazi Germany and that slavery isn't going to suddenly become legal again.

Re: The Stand (Stephen King) ~Extended Edition~
Roughly 30% of the way through (it's a pretty long book) and, honestly, I don't even think anyone has left their starting location yet with the obvious exception of Stu Redman because they moved him (and all of Arnette) earlier on. A few of the characters introduced earlier on are dead. Tools used t...

Re: Enigma's #1 tip for quitting smoking
I made it a pretty long time a couple years ago, but ramped right back up to 1-3 packs a day real quick. Like I said, the real key is to just not do it. I know that sound stupid, but it's true. They aren't a stress reliever like people think because all it does is relieve the stress caused by nicoti...

Enigma's #1 tip for quitting smoking
Just do it. Fuck pouches, fuck vapes, fuck patches, fuck anything that will continue to put nicotine into your system. Just. Fucking. Do it. Look at it this way: 24-72 hour after your last cigarette the nicotine will have left your system, and around the 10 day mark conitine will have left your syst...

Yeah that's why I didn't put much on it. If it goes WAY up I'll make a decent amount, if it tanks I'm only out like $15
Re: Crypto
Agreed. We might see a little profit here and there but nothing significant for another couple years.
Re: Crypto
It has something to do with that inflation increase that happened. Everything will settle down soon, and then after Biden gets kicked out of office finally everything will skyrocket

About 20% of the way through now and it's JUST starting to kill people off and introduce the main antagonist, but you can tell it's going to be a while before it starts linking the people up. So far they have Nick Andros's story pretty much kicking along in full swing, and Frannie Goldsmith has or i...

The Stand (Stephen King) ~Extended Edition~
Started reading 'The Stand' on my new-to-me Nook tablet, and apparently the edition I have is some "extended edition" or kind of a director's cut of the book. I'm not very far into it yet, I guess, but I've read most of it before so while I kind of know where it goes at some point, it's st...

Re: The crypto bear market continues, when will it end?
The market is going down all across the board right now, the best thing to do is try to get in nice and low. My average price paid is plummeting because I just keep investing on lower and lower valued stock. Once this shit all turns around I'll clean up nicely. Maybe not rich, but I'll make a few X ...

Re: Probably going to be some UI changes
This isn't it for UI changes. I don't mind this portal system plugin, but there has to be a way to enable the missing columns, and not having recent topics eliminates the point of having it (other than it doesn't stretch across the screen). If my attempts seem half assed it's because they are based ...

So I finished the book, and the way they brought everything together was pretty good. I knew Dan and Abra would end up being related, but wasn't expecting it to be from the mom's side, nor was I honestly expecting him to survive, and the slight twist of having Jack help push Rose the Hat off the led...

Technically they're upholding Arizona's original decision. They actually have nothing to do with the original conviction.

Re: 100 mile border zone
There's kind of a grey area too it too, like, the reason pimps wear so much jewelry is because it's easier for cops to take cash than it is to take random items, so they then release the jewelry to their hoes, they pawn it, the pimp gets out and picks the jewelry back up using dirty money.

Start eating tons of peanut butter and drinking tons of milk. The calcium in the milk will help you absorb the protein from the penis butter

I'm about 1/3rd of the way through it so far, and it's starting to pick up real steam (pun not intended), and doing that thing Stephen King is so good at doing where it's obvious what's going to happen but it's not clear how it's going to happen yet. I def want to. I've seen the original Shining a few times, and the remake at least once, but 'Dr Sleep' has piqued my interest enough that seeing the movie would be a treat. I hear it's one King was more involved in so it's closer to the book.

Okay, so I'm about 15% of the way into it so far, and like most Stephen King books it's just starting to get into the meat of the story, but so far they've re-introduced Danny (Dan) Torrance and have painted a picture of the struggles he's having with alcohol and depression..... The same struggles h...
