Re: Vaccine deadly. I fucking called it.
Is it really surprising? Literally every vaccine has had adverse reactions. It's risk management of it being a low chance, and that the thing you're preventing would be a higher chance & generally be a bad experience as well. Idk why this is so hard for people to grasp. Hell, drinking too much w...

I think so. And I guess Line 3 already existed, according to a wiki article? It's just that they're laying a new segment for it.

Line 3
Enbridge is building a tar Sands pipeline thru native land in Minnesota. Which, due to treaty, is illegal. Police are arresting peaceful protestors, and some of the videos seemed like the protestors were even on native land. This line crosses the missippi twice, and up here it will affect the entire...

Yea, I don't really go out of my way to hurt ppl. Or to even bring it up, I hate how it's become a trendy fucking identity for people. Like, it's a part of me, but only as much as being diabetic would be a part of a diabetic person's life. And it isn't like i chose it, it's just a weird quirk we don...

The dealer I was using is a transphobe I guess
The person I pick up thru went in to see their dealer (well, my dealer, but I haven't seen them face to face before, always sit outside while the person I actually know goes in) and apparently the dealer's partner went off on some tangent about how I'm mentally ill, not a real person, etc. I guess t...

Re: The vax doesn't work, so you must get the vax
Right, but it's still solid proof that vaccines can help. Passing through generations just means you only have to really do one or two waves of shots, whereas with more short lived vaccines you'd just vaccinate each generation. Like kids getting tetanus shots before school. This is not at all surpri...

Re: The vax doesn't work, so you must get the vax
Of course the vaccine can help the virus mutate. It'll have to mutate to more easily infect vaccinated individuals. That's basic fucking science lmao. Herd immunity through mass vaccination would help, too. Obviously it would. We've literally eradicated diseases entirely, simply through vaccines. Po...

He's part of a committee investigating 1/6 or something, if I recall. So it makes sense that he'd be a target of quiet support from politician s too afraid to let their base know their true stance. He isn't just some random republican

Veterinarian, not combat vet.
Just a rough job with hours on the feed, trying to get big, aggressive dogs onto exam tables and to hold still for blood draws and shit. I guess their community likes a good bed? Tho that could probably be said about just about any job that isn't a desk job or something.

Varies a bit from place to place, but generally they do whatever the vet doesn't do themselves. They'll do exams, collect blood, stool, etc, do lab work, prep animals for surgery.
I guess an analogy would be that they're the nurses to the surgeons/doctors?

I can call Brietbart shit without taking them seriously. It doesn't mean I condone (or even believe) in what is, given their shit status as a "news" org, likely just satire or falsely reported nonsense meant to fearmonger anyway. Generally, if the only people talking about something are th...

The Dems have cheated in primaries before. 2020, Bernie #1? They list him as "other" and list every single other candidate. Bernie #2? Talk about how good of a race the #1 & 3 are putting up and how either can win. 2016 has exit polls being up to 16% off iirc (that one was new York I b...

I mostly just skimmed so idk if the article mentioned what humidity % that is at, because it stresses that it being a wet bulb/humid temp reading matters.
So it's like, temp + humidity = inability to cool via sweating or some shit, so we slowly boil alive? I think?
