You can do a minecraft realm that's pretty cheap. It basically hosts a game on microsofts servers and allows anyone to play on it cross platform.

lol grief, getted banned,, sounds pretty much about right,,, my bro has hella isuess with mod control on his roblox "realm" cuz mfs want to drive his creations, vs build there own,and if they dont leave then he cant do shit, so he made a skin for his chararter that is so fucky that it laggs out the server and kicks every one but him,,

Over the last week I have noticed big fluctuations in my internet speed. I am unsure how well hosting a server via me will go.
I did it last year but I also had 2 less firesticks last year.

A village near spawn that I've been building up.

As for the server, it's going to have to probably wait until the lockdown is over as it's cost prohibitive at this current point in time, mainly because I want it to be semi-future proof.
