No native hot topic functionality

The shit obviously tracks that information because hot topics have animated icons, but there's no way to, like, have hot topics on the side of the screen. Hopefully we get a few more members soon so I can justify the cost of upgrading to better software, cuz phpBB falls on it's face in some aspects.

no hot topics but it def always showed recent threads/ thread replys

Yeah, but what pisses me off is I'm apparently the only person who wants this feature. I might get a vBulletin license since they're only like $45 used.
