Not sure wtf is wrong with it. Pretty sure it's the actual cord, but might just be the fact it's a knockoff. In any case I can't play 75% of my library because keyboard and mouse is for scrubs.

Open it up and check where the cord meets the circuit board. Cheaper controllers often will cut corners and wires will come un soldered easy.

This one is like an android style port that seems to work if I stick a paper clip in with the cord.
