You know what's fucking everywhere? Plastic bottle garbage. If you're ever wondering what you should put in a bug out bag, you might want to consider this. Here is a simple video on how to make an easy version of it.
Now that you have the general idea how to make one, you can take the more elegant route and either buy one or make it. Here is a kickstarter of the device in question
Now why exactly would you get this? My outdoorsy friends piss and moan about the edges of the rope being sharp. Why not just pack rope they say? Because this is for emergencies and garbage is fucking everywhere. Shelters can be lashed together quickly and easily with this stuff.

The kickstarter has tiers. I got the tier with the 3 different ones in it, one being as small as a dog tag.

there are way better devices on market,, and easy af diy types,, best part is its plastic so you can heat it and it shirnks a lil, ive seen recycled wood and cement tables with legs made of stones held together with slightly skrinked plastic bottle wraps

I've seen some of the really good DIY ones you can make. Sadly I live in an apartment with no garage so I can't exactly make them. If you have a link to a better one, i'd like to take a look.
