What is rent like in Gotham City? Marvel New York? It has to be super cheap with all the costume whackos running around. Imagine living in Gotham where you have to worry about the Joker poisoning the water supply. I can't imagine they even have rent.

Imagine what regular crime must feel like to people in those cities. Like, your car could get jacked, your house robbed, and someone shot you in the foot and it would still probably be a comparatively better day than usual.

I feel like "at least x didn't happen" is a phrase that is uttered quite a bit in Gotham.
