Damn when they said this thing was like an entry level desktop they weren't kidding. I never liked using the pis for anything aside from projects but this one seems like it's good to have a linux based PC that you can SSH into on a whim. Long story short, its finally fast enough to be usable and not drive me nuts.

Just looked up the specs and they certainly have gotten better. I should pick up 4 of them and load balance the site between 4 servers.

I think they are shifting towards being more of a powerhouse for projects (or even integrated computers) instead of the intended 'Arduino but with Linux' while keeping the specs on second place.
But honestly, 4GB is insane if you decide to swap out your old RPi1-2 with it in projects that really don't ask much of the system.
Still cool so see a small board like that with such specs, if you imagine that the size of PCs like that have been so huge in not even 5 years ago.
But I still think the mSD is a bottleneck, I think they should allow for a eMMC slot or something. A SATA port would be nice too, but a bit too big for standard usage though, only really useful for NAS systems.

Most people I talk to don't even know or care what an Arduino is anymore. It's all about Raspi. For $35 though I might have to see if there's a practical use for me.
