Red Wing is pretty much nothing but tourist town. It has pretty well kept parks right on the river, has the historic Pottery Place mall where all the Red Wing pottery used to be made, and there's the Red Wing Shoe museum where they show the process they've used for the last 100+ years.

Red Wing also features Oakwood Cemetary, which has great photo opportunities upon Sorin's Bluff, Memorial Hill which overlooks the entire East and South sides of Red Wing, and if you're up for a hike, Barn Bluff which overlooks the Mississippi, nearly all of Red Wing, and a great view of Mud Lake

As someone who grew up in Red Wing I obviously know all the secret places, but those are the more touristy things you can do.
