Oh, but like, don't panic, y'all! We've tried nothing and are all out of ideas, but don't panic!

Agreed. I'm sick of people who aren't even doing what we're being told bitching about it. What REALLY grinds my gears is that when we're in a company van people still won't wear a mask, like, all we need is to end up on the news as the gutter guys who won't wear masks.

Right? Experts are saying this could be controlled/mostly over (forget which) in like... 6-8 weeks if we just wore masks.

I'm honestly shocked we haven't locked back down again yet. If we'd simply done what literally every first world country on the planet has done we'd already be over it.

Ehh not so. No one really knows how to deal with it. Sweden never locked down and got shit on in the beginning by the rest of the world for not taking things seriously. As of now they're one of the lowest ranked covid countries in the world, likely because of herd immunity. The places that got super fucked were places that had an elderly population. For example, Italy got hammered because of their aging population and close quarter living. The same thing happened in New York when Deblasio decided to put covid infected people back in retirement homes. Most of the deaths in the country are due to New Yorks massive fuck up with the elderly population.

Honestly, I stopped following the Covid-19 shit when it became clear it was more political than real at this point.

That I do agree with because of first hand experience. I work at a hospital so I got to see the panic from the beginning. If you even had a cough or slight fever at all you were counted as covid. We had entire wings of the hospital dedicated to just covid patients. Then as the months go by the testing gets better and they realized that they were over doing it. Now there are still covid rooms, just only here and there. My theory was economic but in a benevolent way. Lots of nurses and staff were getting sent home because non essential surgery and procedures weren't being done. The hospital had a choice, start laying off workers or fudge some numbers and make the covid numbers look bigger than they are so they get more government dollars. It's still not right, but I can understand it to a degree.

I know the only "confirmed" case in Goodhue County, Minnesota was debunked less than a day later by the victims family who stated it was 100% pneumonia. Some hospitals and funeral homes were getting extra money for covid patients too, yeah?

I hadn't heard of the funeral homes getting extra money. That doesn't shock me.

I guess they aren't getting extra money, they're just charging more.
