Notes on Jetta 1.8t Water Pump

So, I had to do this water pump, and it was a major pain in the ass, so learn from my mistakes:

1) Once you remove the motor mount, don't be afraid to jack that fucker up. You'll need to to get the motor mount bracket off, and it make shit easier.

2) You don't have to remove the crank pulley or the lower timing belt cover if you're careful

3) That being said, it's not that easy to knock it out of time. I went into it thinking I was at a huge risk, but I tried turning both pulleys by hand and it doesn't work that way at all. You'd have to put retard strength into it to fuck it up

4) Just remove the fucking tensioner and save yourself a lot of headache.

That's the few things I learned. I'm not going to walk you through it, because honestly it's pretty fucking straight forward. If you have some questions, I'll answer them within reason.
