It's because most people continue to smoke weed while consuming their "edibles" so they don't really know the difference. Edibles are actually kinda 'meh' if you're used to a good weed high.

Assuming you're good enough, it's almost mushroom season. You could make a good amount of money selling magic mushrooms.

Ebay is a good way to make money online. When I was a younger man I worked with a cocaine addicted business man who had an Ebay business store. He would go around to estate auctions and thrift stores picking up items he thought would sell. Don't forget he was often high on cocaine so he would often bring in things like old dirty chains or board games from the 1970s. The trick though, was to put all this stuff up and sell it as novelty items. I used to put up 100+ items a day on ebay along with my coworkers. At a certain point he was making hundreds of dollars a day selling literal junk on ebay.
But be warned, this was a long time ago back when Ebay was far more popular of a place than it is now. Also it's a bit of a gamble buying junk and hoping it will sell. But if it works like it did for him, you will make hundreds or even thousands of dollars a week.

eBay can be a good way to make money if you have access to cheap shit. Don't try buying lots and flipping them though, it never works.
