So recently I got a Keurig branded reusable cup, but was still getting grounds in my cup. Hmm, strange. So I investigated and discovered (after two years) that the ENTIRE BREW MECHANISM COMES APART FOR CLEANING. There was so much shit built up in it that the act of cleaning it out put the machine into high-pressure mode for half a day. Now everything tastes great, I don't get grounds in my coffee anymore, and I check it twice a week to make sure it's clean (which for some reason it stays clean now?).
TL/DR: Keurigs come apart for cleaning just in case you didn't know.
