file size for pictures
file size for pictures
I tried using the image attachment tab at the bottom and it informs me that my picture is to big. What's the max file size for an image?
Re: file size for pictures
Probably something low because there's an actual image server setup at newtotse.com/pics

Yeah I saw that but I didn't see where to upload a picture. Does it have something to do with the piwigo tab?Helladamnleet wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 6:38 amProbably something low because there's an actual image server setup at newtotse.com/pics
Re: file size for pictures
No, the piwigo integration is broken, hold on, I'll look into it.

Re: file size for pictures
Fixed. Turns out Piwigo doesn't support standard users uploading pictures by default. Thank you for making a thread bringing this to my attention. I have installed the community plugin which will allow you to upload any file size and number of photos. Please post any follow up here.
I'll fix the integration too, just not right now. There's a way to make it recognize BBS users and allow them to upload accordingly, it's just time consuming right this second.

Re: file size for pictures
That can be a bad idea if someone wants to spam with a ton of pictures or try and upload a picture that's hundreds of MB or even GB in size. Fuckery can be had.Helladamnleet wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 6:10 pmI have installed the community plugin which will allow you to upload any file size and number of photos.

Re: file size for pictures
In any case, I'm happy to see it worked out for you, and that registration for that part works as intended.

Re: file size for pictures
The next question I have is there any personal files to upload pictures and is there a way to erase them?Helladamnleet wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 4:07 pmIn any case, I'm happy to see it worked out for you, and that registration for that part works as intended.
Re: file size for pictures
Like a personal album?
I know Piwigo should let you delete anything YOU uploaded

Re: file size for pictures
Also, you can create sub-albums within the community album, and I just enabled the option to automatically create user-albums within the community album
